Kelly Graves is a software executive and technical leader whose career spans nearly thirty years. That career began with flight simulation systems at Hughes Simulation, continued through founding and running his own enterprise software company, and most recently included directing large-scale engineering organizations at one of the world's leading financial services firms. He has built and led teams, founded a company, delivered compliance-critical systems for Fortune 500 clients, and operated at the intersection of technology and business leadership across manufacturing, financial services, healthcare, and defense. Where most technology leaders are either strong technically or strong organizationally, Kelly has consistently operated at both levels simultaneously — a combination that makes him effective not just at building software, but at ensuring technology investments produce measurable business outcomes.
Most recently, Kelly served as a Director and Engineering Leader at Fidelity Investments, where he led a team of 40 software engineers responsible for the systems that produce shareholder reports for Fidelity customers and for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. In this role he worked across organizational boundaries, partnering with product leaders, business operations, technical architects, and development teams to design, build, test, and roll out the applications that support one of the most compliance-sensitive functions in financial services.
From 2008 to 2020, Kelly was the founder and CEO of Bowen Systems Corporation, serving as the primary technology partner for Flowserve Corporation, a Fortune 500 industrial manufacturer operating across more than 100 countries. Bowen Systems delivered a portfolio of mission-critical financial applications for Flowserve, most notably a contract management and revenue recognition platform built to FASB ASC 606 compliance standards that remains in active production use today across more than 200 Flowserve locations worldwide. As CEO, Kelly owned every dimension of the engagement, building and leading the development team, directing the technical architecture, and partnering directly with Flowserve's finance and IT leadership. Prior to founding Bowen Systems, he held senior technical roles at Bank of America, FedEx Office, McKesson Corporation, and Verizon.
Kelly holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington's College of Engineering.
